Koffo Weaving Exhibited in Jakarta

Manado Post – Tenun Koffo from COFO was successfully exhibited in Jakarta at the superior product promotion and marketing exhibition at Smesco Building, Jakarta, on March 31, 2018, after being successfully selected and passed the curation process of 287 creative economic entrepreneurs who signed up for the Adiwastra National exhibition 2018 on 11-15 April 2018.

Founder of COFO, Cindy Wowor, conveyed her mission to revive Koffo woven fabric by displaying inspirational fabric products from weaving in the form of geometric decoration motif and also a new breakthrough in the application of pull foam motif and pigment on fabrics with a modern touch without leaving the Koffo weaving cultural elements. COFO which is now a curated product from the Creative Economy Agency (Bekraf) has received special attention from Cita Tenun Indonesia to continue to be preserved by the local community because of its rich cultural values and history.
