Cofo All Out Promotes Koffo Cloth Sangihe Talaud

Posko Manado – COFO which was selected as one of 12 creative economic entrepreneurs through the curation stage of the Creative Economy Agency (Bekraf) this year, participated in the promotion and marketing exhibition of superior products representing North Sulawesi Province. At the exhibition initiated by the Ministry of Cooperatives and SMEs in collaboration with the Dekranas Pusat held at Gedung Smesco Jakarta on March 31, 2018, COFO showed the superior product of Koffo woven fabric from Sangihe Talaud which previously almost came to extinction. In accordance with the theme of the Adiwastra 2018 exhibition, “Contemporary Nuances in the Form of Indigenous Literature”, COFO revives Koffo woven fabric and presents a new breakthrough in the application of motif in the form of foam and pigment to fabrics with a modern touch, without leaving its cultural elements.
